Rev. Shannan R. Vance-Ocampo, Associate Pastor for Children, Youth, and Families
was called to serve at Rumson Presbyterian in July of 2001. Shannan graduated from The
College of Wooster with a B.A. in Religious Studies and Philosophy and with her Masters of
Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary. She is a Certified Christian Educator in
the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and is currently participating in a three-year project
with Princeton Theological Seminary on youth ministry through the Lilly Endowment. Her
passions are for children, youth, and mission work at home and abroad. Shannan and her
husband Juan Gabriel Ocampo Valle of Bogotá, Colombia, live in Red Bank with their

Andreea Pauta, Director of Music has served the Church since July of 2007.
With an undergraduate degree from the New England Conservatory in piano
performance and a graduate degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education,
Andreea expresses her love for music by directing the Cherubs Choir, Children’s
Choir, Youth Choir, Adult Choir, and Bell Choir. She is excited by the opportunity to promote growth through music,
and is grateful to do this with such a unique, beautiful
group of talented people. Andreea lives within her family of three in Fair Haven, where she co-teaches at their Studio for Music And The
