Rev. John W. Monroe, III Rev. John W. Monroe, III, Senior Pastor was called to be Pastor of Rumson Presbyterian Church in July 1998. He grew up in the South and after graduating from Davidson College and Princeton Theological Seminary, has served congregations in Ridgewood, New Jersey and Phoenix, Arizona. His passions are for relational ministries and a deepening of the spiritual life. John has two children, Sam and Chandler. He enjoys jogging, sailing, golfing and reading. Contact Rev. Monroe

 
Rev. Shannan R. Vance-Ocampo, Associate Pastor for Children, Youth, and Families was called to serve at Rumson Presbyterian in July of 2001.  Shannan graduated from the College of Wooster with a B.A. in Religious Studies and Philosophy and with her Masters of Divinity at McCormick Theological Seminary.  She is a Certified Christian Educator in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), and participated in a three-year study of youth ministry with the Lilly Endowment and Princeton Theological Seminary.  She is currently enrolled as a Fellow with Greenfaith (www.greenfaith.org).  Her passions are for educational ministries along with mission and peacemaking ministries at home and abroad.  Shannan is married to Juan Gabriel Ocampo Valle of Bogota, Colombia and has one daughter, Sofia Elena.  Contact Rev. Andreea Pauta Andreea Pauta, Director of Music has served the Church since July of 2007. With an undergraduate degree from the New England Conservatory in piano performance and a graduate degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education, Andreea expresses her love for music by directing the Cherubs Choir, Children’s Choir, Youth Choir, Adult Choir, and Bell Choir. She is excited by the opportunity to promote growth through music, and is grateful to do this with such a unique, beautiful group of talented people. Andreea lives within her family of three in Fair Haven, where she co-teaches at their Studio for Music And The Arts.
